Red Jacket Teddy Bear Glass Ornament

The teddy bear ornament, dressed for the occasion in a red jacket, which is roughly the level of formality December deserves. In glass, the little bear catches light the way the older tree pieces do, so it sits happily on a preppy tree, a classic red and green tree, or a nursery tree. Hang it on a mantel garland, tie it to a gift for a new baby’s first Christmas, or start a collection for a child who gets one new bear a year.

Perfect for: teddy bear collectors, new baby gifts, preppy Christmas trees, grandparents, nostalgic gifting, and ornament exchanges.

People often ask what makes a teddy bear ornament a keepsake rather than filler. It is usually the material and the detail: a glass piece with a face and clothing holds up year after year and becomes the one someone looks for in the box each season.
