Thrift Shop Glass Ornament by Cody Foster

A tiny storefront for anyone who considers a Saturday well spent if it ends with somebody else’s dishes, this glass Christmas ornament turns a thrift shop into a hanging keepsake. Storefront ornaments give a tree a sense of place, and this one carries a wink for the friend who furnished an entire apartment secondhand and still talks about the price. It works on a village tree, a humor tree, a first apartment tree, a mantel garland, or a wreath by the front door, and it is a very good ornament exchange pick.

Perfect for: vintage hunters, secondhand shoppers, first apartment trees, white elephant gifts, hostess gifts, and collectors of small buildings.

Group it with other little shopfronts to build a street along one branch line, and one side of the tree starts reading as a neighborhood instead of a pile of decorations. Keep the block going with more unique Christmas ornaments, or set the whole scene with our Christmas party supplies and holiday decorations.
