Orange Ceramic Jack-O’-Lantern Jar

A ceramic pumpkin solves the one real problem with a carved jack-o’-lantern, which is that a carved one collapses into itself inside a week. This one is thrown in a teardrop shape, painted a warm tiki orange, and given a grinning face and a pointed stem lid, then fired hard enough to come back out of the attic every October for years. The shape is drawn from a 1960s ceramic piece, so it lands closer to vintage Halloween than to anything currently on an endcap.
