Black Ceramic Skull with Gold Spiderweb

Halloween skull decor usually goes one of two ways, novelty or genuinely grim, and this one goes neither. A glossy black ceramic skull is traced with hand-applied 22K gold spiderwebs, and a small gold spider named Charlotte sits on top of it. The gold is applied by hand after firing, one piece at a time, which is why the webbing wanders instead of repeating.

Perfect for: elegant Halloween decor, adult Halloween party tables, mantel and bookshelf styling, October dinner parties, gothic decor, and Day of the Dead displays.

The gold is what makes it a piece you leave out. A plain skull reads as a prop and comes down on November 1st; this one sits on a bookshelf next to hardbacks and looks deliberate well into the fall.

Set it low on a mantel with the black jack-o’-lantern jar behind it for height, or see more Halloween home decor.
