Picnic Playing Card Set

A deck of playing cards worth packing on purpose. Rifle Paper Co illustrates the whole set in a picnic palette of berries, blooms, and gingham, which makes an ordinary hand of gin rummy feel like part of the afternoon rather than a way to kill time. It is light and slim enough for a basket, a tote, or a carry-on, so it travels from the blanket in the park to the porch after dinner to the tray table on a flight. Classic games, prettier cards, no rules to learn. Keep one deck at home and one in the bag.

Perfect for: picnics, garden parties, summer birthdays, travel days, and hostess gifts.
