Red Gingham Christmas Treat Boxes

Six gable boxes in red gingham with a printed bow, plus six tags to write on. The gable shape is the one with the built-in handle at the top, so the box closes and carries in one motion with no ribbon or tape needed.

At 4 by 5 by 2.75 inches each one holds roughly half a dozen cookies, a small candle, a bag of caramels, or a stack of chocolates. That makes them the workhorse of a cookie exchange, a classroom hand-off, or the row of neighbor gifts that has to go out the door on the twenty-third.
