Vintage Fishing Flies Glass Ornament by Cody Foster

A fly fishing ornament built around the flies themselves, in blue or yellow glass, which beats another trout on a hook by a wide margin. Anyone who ties their own knows exactly what they are looking at, and that flash of recognition is really the gift. It suits a river house tree, a cabin mantel garland, a wreath on a screen porch door, or an office tree where the fishing photos outnumber the family ones. Give it after a first guided trip or a good season on a favorite river.

Perfect for: fly fishers, river house trees, cabin decor, retirement gifts, ornament exchanges, and a grandfather who taught someone to cast.

Ornaments like this mark one person’s hobby rather than filling out a tree, so most households own one or two instead of a full set. They hang from an ordinary hook, and many owners move theirs to a desk hook once the season ends.
