Yellow Pencil Ornament

A yellow pencil glass ornament, sharpened and ready, standing in for every list, sketch, and homework page it ever got through. Old World Christmas blows each one into a carved mold, then hand-paints and glitters it, so a very ordinary object turns quietly luxurious. It reads beautifully on a teacher’s tree, a classroom garland, a home office shelf, or tied to a gift for someone who still writes things down by hand.

Perfect for: teacher gifts, back to school celebrations, stocking stuffers, ornament exchanges, first apartment trees, and the writers or artists on your list.

It arrives with a keepsake box, so it stores as neatly as it hangs. The glass is mouth-blown and finished by hand in a tradition that began in the 1800s. Slip a hook over a branch, a cabinet knob, or a length of ribbon on a wrapped present.

Set it beside a few other desk objects for a small still life on one branch, or keep browsing unique Christmas ornaments for the rest of the tree.
