Mrs. Rabbit And Peter Ornament

Mrs. Rabbit gets her own moment in this Peter Rabbit ornament, with Peter tucked close beside her in hand-painted glass. Beatrix Potter’s tales tend to pass from one generation to the next, and this piece does something similar on the tree. It suits a nursery tree, a first Christmas, or a gift for a new mother who grew up with the books.

Perfect for: baby’s first Christmas, new mother gifts, nursery themed trees, storybook collections, baby shower gifts, and godchild gifts.

Old World Christmas makes ornaments like this by blowing glass into a carved mold, then hand-painting and glittering the detail, a tradition that began in the 1800s. It ships with a keepsake box for storage between seasons, and it hangs from a standard hook or a ribbon. The pairing reads as a quiet tribute to maternal love in the Beatrix Potter stories.

Set it near a sledding piece for a full storybook branch, then see more in our Peter Rabbit collection or our glass Christmas ornaments.
