Game Boy Glass Ornament by Cody Foster

A Game Boy ornament in white glass, buttons and screen and all, for anyone whose childhood came with a soundtrack of small electronic beeps. It is a toy and game ornament that lands instantly with a certain generation, and it hangs well among ordinary baubles precisely because it does not belong there. Use it on a den tree, an office tree, a garland over a game shelf, or tied onto a gift for a gamer.

Perfect for: gamers, nineties kids, office trees, dorm trees, white elephant gifts, and stocking stuffers.

Nostalgia ornaments do a lot of quiet work on a family tree, because they date the people who hung them as plainly as a photograph would. This one starts conversations across generations, usually with somebody explaining what a cartridge was to a teenager who has never held one.

Group it with other retro shapes on the same side of the tree, then browse more unique Christmas ornaments and stocking stuffers.
