Sailboat Glass Ornament

A sailboat ornament with the sails up, this white and blue glass Christmas ornament is for the household that counts down to launch day. It hangs cleanly from an outer branch where the sails catch the light, and it works on a wreath, a garland along a porch rail, or the top of a wrapped gift. On a coastal tree it anchors the whole theme, and on a classic tree it adds a quiet nautical note that keeps the room from feeling too formal.

Perfect for: sailors, boat owners, harbor town summers, a coastal Christmas tree, lake house decorating, and hostess gifts.

Sail it in with more nautical and coastal decor, a handful of glass Christmas ornaments in clear and silver, and rope wrapped candles for a mantel that looks like a marina at dusk. It is also a thoughtful boat warming present, a stocking stuffer for a junior sailor, and a reliable pick for an ornament exchange where everyone has already brought the usual bauble.
